I had a resolution to have a healthier and more energetic new year. I had a bad case of the “blahs” and was finding myself hitting a wall everyday around 3pm where I was exhausted and craving sugar. I decided it was time to get serious about my health and diet.
I had read about cleanses - everything from the Hollywood crazy cayenne and lemon juice to enema flushes and quickly decided they were not for me (or anyone else I could think of for that matter).
I started thinking about what would make a reasonable, healthy and medically sound cleanse. Fiber, right? Clean out the colon well, then refill it full of good probiotics, antioxidants, healthy fats and proteins. Flush all of the toxins and preservatives out of your body and refill it with just good stuff.
I did some research and came up with the following formula. I started it, and had a few friends try the program with me. And we, of course, have made and continue to make modifications.
